The Sword in Your Mouth
Transformed City Church just stepped into a NEW DAY. Let me recap a little about what happened this particular weekend. On Friday, September 4th and Saturday, September 5th, all of the leaders of the church, aka Shield, gathered together for our first Annual Leadership Conference. In the history of TCC, we have gathered in meetings but this time the Lord instructed our leaders to host a leadership conference. The theme was called “Locked + Loaded” deriving from Acts 2:1-2 which says:
“When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.”
The Lord wrecked us in the best way giving us correction, direction, instruction, and impartation. We engaged in some hard conversations but it allowed us to experience KOINONIA fellowship. Koinonia is a biblical and Greek term that means something deeper than just socializing. It actually means partnership or shared participation, communion or close relationship, joint ownership and sharing in something together. This word is in the New Testament in Acts 2:42 where it describes the early believers devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching, koinonia, breaking of bread, and prayer. God revealed to us that we were LOADED but we were not LOCKED; in other words, we were gathering in one place but we were not on one accord fully for His mission. What we experienced in that virtual space on Friday with teaching and prophetic impartation by Apostle Trineene Hall of Power in Action Center, and in-person on Saturday led by Pastor Brad and I, was nothing short of transformational. We shared our hearts, bore each others’ burdens, cried together, renewed our shared focus, covenant, and surrender to God, and that was just the beginning.
Whenever the Lord dealt with the priests, the teachers, the scribes, and all the leadership groups as a whole, He was establishing or re-establishing His order and major moves of God followed. So, on today, Sunday, September 6, 2026, the intercessors went into the building at 9:30AM and in the middle of their intercession, God disrupted through Pastor Queen with a prophetic Word that then led to a prophetic song, prophetic tongues, followed by the interpretation of tongues by Pastor Brad. He revealed that He has descended in the midst and gave the entire intercessory prayer team access to a higher dimension in the heavenly realms, a new fire on our tongues to decree and declare in the Heavens what is written in the books of Heaven. He revealed that there were angels of God surrounding the building with keys in their hands and what broke out next was a wind that caused all of us to hit the floor in reverence. It was almost representative of the Day of Pentecost.
As we began to prepare for service, we were given instruction that right before we enter into prayer before service begins, Intercessor Shannan was to blow the shofar to represent A NEW DAY. Therefore, at 11:30, she stood up and instructed the people to stand. She explained to them what was given to her through study of the Hebrew Calendar year of 5787, something she shared deeply with the intercessory team earlier that morning which is also shared below. She began to blow the shofar and began to pray.
That moment led to a prophetic song which ended up flowing into our LIVE experience and start of service at Noon EST. So, if you were an online watcher, that is what you entered into and what we experienced during that time was nothing short of glorious. Even the targeted message in the series around being an unauthorized engager of the realm of the spirit was revelatory. We talked through what God says about syncretism and His command to have no other God before Him, not only in rank, but in His presence in your life. Therefore, divination, sorcery, talking to the dead, crystals, sage burning, sound baths, doing shadow work, having abominable and accursed items in your house were all the highlights of the message. I have provided links at the bottom to watch the replay from today and binge the current series. I will also like to note that we are just finishing up our Wednesday Bible Study series “Layers of Prayers”. It is not a coincidence of what God is doing in OUR HOUSE.
Take heed TCC Nation! God is moving us into position. He is establishing the infrastructure and systems of our House like unity, order, prayer, gifts in position, etc so that we can be a complete vessel moving together that He can pour His glory. His goal is that when He releases more hurting people to TCC, we will be the safe haven where they can learn, heal, and become who Christ intended for them to be for the advancement of His Kingdom.
He is re-aligning our posture before Him.
He is destroying altars that do not belong.
He is healing the nations. He is giving us strength for the time to come.
This is not the time to miss the move because you are not in position or dialed into the sound and frequency of this House. If you know you were sent here, it is time to plug in and OCCUPY until He comes.
Wake up from your slumber.
Repent from your backsliding.
Return to the House.

Hebrew Year 5787 - The Sword in Your Mouth by Shannan Batten
What is 5787? The Hebrew year 5787 begins at sundown on September 11, 2026.
We are in the Hebrew decade of the 5780s. Every Hebrew letter has a corresponding number and picture:
80 — Peh (פ): connected to the Hebrew word for mouth
7 — Zayin (ז): carries historical associations with weaponry
While Scripture does not declare a specific prophecy for the year 5787, these Hebrew connections provide a framework for a powerful biblical truth: There is power in our mouths, and the Word of God is our sword.
POINT #1 Be Mindful of Your Mouth
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” — Proverbs 18:21
Our words matter. Jesus teaches that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34). This is a season to pay attention not only to what we are saying, but also to what we are allowing to fill our hearts. We want our words to come into alignment with the Word and will of God.
POINT #2 Sharpen Your Sword
“And take…the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” — Ephesians 6:17
The Word of God is our spiritual weapon. We cannot wait until the battle comes to begin learning how to use our sword. We must become diligent in:
FASTING — disciplining our flesh
PRAYER — strengthening our communion with God
STUDY — putting the Word within us
SPEAKING — responding with what God has already said
FAST → PRAY → STUDY → SPEAK
POINT #3 Let Jesus Be Our Example
In Matthew 4:1–11, Jesus had fasted for 40 days when Satan came to tempt Him. Jesus repeatedly answered: “IT IS WRITTEN…” Jesus did not allow His hunger, circumstances, or emotions to determine His response. He responded with the Word. When pressure comes, what has been deposited within us should be available to come out of us.
Our Charge
Guard your heart.
Guard your mouth.
Return to prayer.
Return to fasting.
Return to the Word.
Learn your weapon.
Sharpen your sword.
Fast until your flesh doesn't dictate your response.
Pray until your spirit recognizes His voice.
Study until His Word becomes your instinct.
Then, when it's time to speak, there will be a sword in your mouth.
